On behalf of our esteemed client, a prominent player in the Vancouver real estate market, we are seeking an experienced Development Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage diverse real estate development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
Description:
The Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entirety of the development process, from initial concept through to project completion. This includes land acquisition, planning, design, securing necessary permits, overseeing construction, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development process for various real estate projects.
- Manage land acquisition, including feasibility studies and negotiations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals throughout the project.
- Handle zoning, planning, and permit processes with local authorities.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Engage with investors, community groups, and government entities.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate development.
- Knowledgeable about the Vancouver real estate market and development procedures.
- Proven success in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Construction Management).
- Proficient in relevant project management software.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and working collaboratively.
