Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of civil infrastructure projects in the Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and public works. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of civil infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with design, budget, and schedule.
- Oversee project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage budgets, project resources, and schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Resolve project challenges and issues effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and other key partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the civil infrastructure sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and infrastructure development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
